Recently out of storage, Class 60 No. 60085 failed near Eckington while working 6X36 Didcot to Ashchurch MOD on 27 June 2008. Class 66 No. 66161 was sent from Gloucester, where it was on the Cardiff to Handsworth scrap empties, to rescue the train but not before enormous disruption had been caused to southbound services on the Birmingham to Cheltenham line. 6X36 is here seen running along Ashchurch Loop in order to allow the backlog of passenger services to pass.
