History in the making. Paul Lewin, the Ffestiniog Railway General Manager,holds the 'Golden Bolts' together with the trowel presented at the cutting of the first sod of the Ffestiniog Railway in 1833 immediately prior to the insertion of the bolts into the final fishplate on 28th February 2009.
