The Midland Pullman, with Class 251 Power Cars No. 60090 and No. 60091 in Nanking blue livery, pass Trent Station on 13th April 1966 on a Manchester Central to Nottingham service. Both train and Station are now history. The Pullman commanded a 1-5 bell code instead of the usual 1-4. The Midland Pullman two sets were transferred to the Western Region in 1967 and withdrawn in May 1973.
