Photographed passing through Burton-on-Trent on a very wet afternoon of Wednesday 29th May 2013 is a convoy of locomotives returning to their home base of Barrow Hill following guest appearances at the recently-held Swanage Railway Diesel Gala and the Didcot Railway Centre's Shed Bash events. The driver of special working 0Z38, 13:25 Lydney Junction to Barrow Hill, headed by superbly restored Class 55 Deltic No. D9009 'Alycidon' applies power to the locomotives Napier engines after passing through the 50 miles per hour speed restriction at Burton-on-Trent station. The other locomotives making up the convoy comprise of Class 33/1 No. 33108, Class 37/5 No. 37521 'English China Clays' and Class 55 No. 55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' but all were dead-in-tow.
