Class 20 No. 20083 and 20137 approach Falkland Road Yard, Ayr from the Prestwick direction with an empty coal train on March 26th 1976. Both locos were allocated to Eastfield Depot, Glasgow at this time. Surprisingly 37 years later both 20083 and 20137 are still extant. 20083 was modified to a Class 20/9 and renumbered 20903 and is currently, December 2013, stored at Burton in unbranded DRS colours, while 20137 is preserved on the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway as D8137 in BR Green livery.
