Early on the morning of 2nd October 2014, almost recreating the days when the Winchester to Alton line was used as a diversionary route, rebuilt Bullied West Country Class No. 34046 Braunton, passes Medstead and Four Marks, hauling the 'Cathedrals Express' from Alresford on the Watercress Line to Kingscote on the Bluebell Railway. Class 47/0 No. 47237 was assisting at the rear on what was scheduled to be the Light Pacific's last main line outing before an intermediate overhaul.
