As part of the Great Western Heritage Weekend that took place on 18th & 19th October 2014, Great Western laid on a series of events with heritage traction. As part of these events, Class 57/6 locomotives Nos. 57604 & 57605 provided loco hauled circular round trips from Paddington-Paddington via West Ealing, Park Royal and South Greenford using their sleeper train. Here No. 57604 Pendennis Castle is seen on 18th under one of the three barrel vaults of clear arch construction designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel at Paddington, having arrived with one of the Greenford loop services.
