'Western' Class 52 diesel hydraulic No. D1070 'Western Gauntlet' between duties at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 23rd September 1970. New from Crewe Works in October 1963 and initially allocated to Cardiff Canton (86A), it was withdrawn from Laira in December 1976 and scrapped at Swindon Works during May 1979.
