Very early days of the South Devon Railway, WR '64XX' Class 0-6-0PT No. 6435 waits to depart from Buckfastleigh on 18th September 1991 with a service to Totnes. The line had just been taken over from the Dart Valley Railway and the northern section to Ashburton had been lost to the A38 widening works. The loco was new from Swindon Works in April 1937. It was withdrawn from Yeovil Town MPD during October 1964 and saved for preservation by the DVR.
