Unique double chimneyed Jubilee No. 45596 'Bahamas' in BR lined green livery is seen between railtour duties at Crewe Heritage Centre on Thursday 5th September 1991. Built by the North British Loco Co, Glasgow in 1934 her first allocation had been just yards from where this image was taken, Crewe North MPD. Withdrawn from Stockport Edgeley MPD in 1966 she was initially preserved at Dinting Railway Centre before moving to the K&WVR upon Dintings closure. 'Bahamas' was used on the BR network from 1989 - 1994 before spending 1997 - 2012 in the K&WVR Oxenhope Museum. Currently undergoing a major overhaul, hopefully it will not be too long before she returns to active service.
