At the start of the third week of its 2014 season, "The Scarborough Spa Express" passes Burton Salmon on 29th July headed by Brush Class 47 No. 47580. The FBU strike and the later dispute between Network Rail and West Coast would result in No. steam operation that year and, as a consequence, the 2015 season has been reduced to just one week in October.
