Class 08 No. 08642 stored at Ipswich on 29th May 2000. Carrying its original number of D3809, the locomotive was new to 82B St Phillips Marsh, Bristol on 23rd January 1959 and taken out of use after a derailment in August 1999 at Felixstowe.The 08 was finally withdrawn in May 2006 after being stripped of useful parts at Leeds Midland Road and cut up at C.F.Booth, Rotherham in June 2008.
