During the 44 day closure of Winchburgh tunnel (13th June to 27th July 2015), where space is being created to permit electrification of the Edinburgh-Glasgow(Queen Street) line, all Edinburgh-Dunblane services are routed via the Dalmeny Junction-Winchburgh Junction line. Here ScotRail Class 170/4 No. 170477 heads towards Edinburgh while in the distance a Class 158 waits at Winchburgh Junction with a service to Dunblane on 3rd July 2015.
