LDZ Class L No. 0312 has been exhibited at the LDZ Museum in Riga, Latvia since 2010. This type of locomotive was one of the most advanced produced in the former Soviet Union, using a mechanical stoker to feed coal to the fire. Built in 1948 at Kolomna Locomotive Works and transferred to the Baltic Railway Network in 1963, this broad gauge engine saw service at the Daugavpils, Jelgava and Riga depots.
