Parked by the staff car park at Toton MPD on 7th June 1986 is Bruff Road Rail Recovery Vehicle B534WTP. 30 of these vehicles based on the Bedford TL lorry were introduced in 1985/86 and distributed to depots around the country. The rail wheels at the front of the vehicle can be seen under the bumper set in the 'up' position for road use. It is believed that B534WTP was last taxed in 1997 and subsequently noted derelict at Toton in 2002.
