On a very wet and overcast 6th October 2014, the Parcels Group organised a Charter on the KWVR to recreate the look and feel of the 1960's "Wake" holiday specials, so popular and prevalent in 'Mill Towns'. Here, facing South once again, 94 year-old Fowler MR Class 4F 0-6-0 No. 43924, matched to a rake of 5 BR suburban coaches, powers up the challenging 1 in 90 gradient over Mytholmes Viaduct, during a runpast at this location.
