Tanfield Railwayâ??s No. 2, 0-4-0ST, was built in 1911 by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. in Newcastle upon Tyne, for Keighley Corporation Gas Dept, Yorkshire. From 1940 to 1976 it worked in Scotland until moving to the Tanfield Railway, County Durham, in 1976. It is seen here on 24th April 2016, at Andrews House Station on the line, having been released from its coaches to pull forward to be coaled and watered prior to its next trip.
