The locomotive had hauled the one coach forming the 08:11 from Crewe H.S. to Burton Wetmore Sidings (Nemesis Rail). Class 45/1 No. 45112 "Royal Army Ordnance Corps" waits in the siding in readiness for a shunting move at the depot. On the left is Network rail's New Measurement Train powered by Class 43s 43014 "The Railway Observer" and classmate No. 43013 heading south with a late-running 06:12 Derby RTC to Edinburgh.
