There is little stock variation in the regular traffic from the Somerset quarries, so it's noteworthy when a new rake of mineral wagons is deployed. The afternoon empties at Hungerford from Theale hauled by Class 59/2 No. 59204 on 22nd August 2016 comprises a smart rake of MRL-branded VTG wagons presented in a fresh-looking silver grey livery which should tone in well with the quarry dust which they will inevitably accumulate in daily use.
