Vietnam Railways Co-Co Diesel Electric loco No. D19E-960 has just arrived at Da Nang on 14th November 2016 with the previous days 19.30hrs. service ex-Saigon (Train No. SE2). The locomotive has just detached itself and will make its way to the nearby depot. The train will be taken forward to Hanoi by classmate D19E 925. This locomotive is one of a later batch of similar locomotives with a more rounded appearance than earlier locomotives. They were delivered from 2003 onwards and are a joint construction enterprise between CSR Ziyang (Southern China) and VRs own Gia Lam workshops.
