FSS Class 899 No. 006 was built in 1882 and was left on the Bolzano-Merano railway at the end of World War 1. It was one of eight units of its type found in occupied territories after the armistice. As late as 1938, the engine was put into use for shunting at Pietrarsa where it was pictured in the museum on 6th May 2010.
