Class 31/1 No. 31294 was one of the few of her Class to carry Railfreight two-tone grey livery complete with Trainload Construction decals and an Immingham TMD Depot plaque on her cabside. In this image taken on 5th April 1994 she has just arrived in Platform 8 at Crewe Station with a parcels service. No. 31294 was noted in these colours from at least September 1991 but by June 1998 she had been dumped in the Toton TMD scrap line. T J Thompson Ltd completed the dismantling of No. 31294 at their yard in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham during July 2003.
