Of the ten visiting diesel locomotives attending the Swanage Gala from 5th to 7th May2017, the largest convoy came from Kidderminster on 3rd May 2017. Seen shortly after arrival and moving to one of the sidings are, Class 66/7 No. 66741 'Swanage Railway', Class 47 No. 47192 (D1842), Class 20's No. 20059 and No. 20188 and Class 45 No. 45041 'Royal Tank Regiment'.
On the turntable is Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34070 'Manston' and in the shed M7 Class 0-4-4T No. 30053, both of which will be out of ticket by the end of the year.
