Work continues in the Llanberis Lake Railway workshops at Gilfach Ddu on the frames of No. 2 "Thomas Bach" as seen here on 4th June 2017. Problems with the new boiler fittings mean that full restoration will be delayed. The locomotive was originally built for the Dinorwic Quarry in 1904 by Hunslet (Works No. 894).
