The South Tynedale Railway's 0-6-2 saddle tank 'Barber' is pictured at the delightful Alston Station on the South Tynedale Railway. The loco was built by Thomas Green and Company Limited of Leeds, in 1908, works No. 441. This locomotive formerly worked at Harrogate Gas Works, Harrogate, North Yorkshire and was named 'Barber' after the Chairman of the company Francis Barber.
