About to depart Cheddleton on a Martin Creese photographic charter is Churchward GWR 2-8-0t No. 4277 on 29th October 2017. The loco is making a rare trip away from its home railway at the Paignton & Dartmouth where it carries the name "Hercules". For the last few months of its current boiler certificate it is visiting the Churnet Valley Railway and has been repainted from its current lined GWR livery to BR Black with early crest. The boiler certificate expires in February2018 and she will enter the overhaul queue and is expected to return in GWR green again.
