GWR Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' passes Barrow-on-Soar on 9th December 2017 with Vintage Trains 'Christmas White Rose' charter the 07:50 Tyseley to York and return working. This was the first steam hauled train to stop at Ilkeston Station since 1965.
