Class 170 Nos. 170517 and 170512 working the 10.12 Birmingham New Street to Rugeley Trent Valley as it passes underneath the new bridge that carries Marquis Drive over the soon to be electrified Chase line between Hednesford and Rugeley on 16th December 2017. Uprights for the electrification masts are in place at this location which is a busy crossing point for walkers and mainly mountain bikers on Cannock Chase and replaced a foot crossing just behind the photographer with had plenty of snow and ice about still from that weekâ??s heavy snow that covered the midlands.
