An interesting formation of a First Great Western Class 158/9 No. 158955 passes along the Westbury-Salisbury line south of Great Wishford with the 11:30 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour service on 12th March 2018. No. 158955 is the number on the leading car but as can be seen there is another cab in the middle car of this set. However, First Great Western or Great Western Railway have 12 Class 158/9 3 car sets which have been reformed from 18 two-car sets, the example seen in this picture is one of those. The number of the original two-car set forming the 2nd and 3rd cars of this unit was unrecorded.
