A short Bank Holiday working week has seen GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66711 make four return trips between Wellingborough and Whatley Quarry - seen here rounding the curve on to Freemans Marsh near Hungerford with the last load of 2400 tonnes, running easily down in to the Kennet Valley ahead of a visit to the goods loop on the Common on 11th May 2018. This service runs irregularly and usually with standard GBRf locos, although the AI livery will continue to appear here daily on the older Class 59/0 locos.
