The 'Lakes Express' from Carnforth to London Victoria was steam-worked by WCRC Class 8F No. 48151 from Carnforth to Crewe but it was then deemed to be "out of gauge" and WCRC Class 47's Nos. 47580 & 47746 were scrambled from Southall to Crewe to work the train south of Crewe here passing Heamies on time on 21st June 2018
