Preserved 3-CIG No. 1497 Freshwater stands at Tunbridge Wells West station on the Spa Valley Railway on 2nd 6th July 2018 waiting to depart with the 15.20 service to Eridge. Class 73 No. 73140 was providing power from the rear operating in push-pull mode. The 3-CIG, one of the last two in service, latterly operating the Lymington branch, has recently arrived from the Mid Norfolk Railway for a five year stay on the line.
