Colas Rail Class 70/8, 70803 is seen on 31st October 2018 approaching St. Peter's Metro Station, Sunderland, en-route from Oxwellmains Lafarge to Seaham Harbour with loaded cement tanks. The building in the background is the former Monkwearmouth station opened in 1848 as the Monkwearmouth Junction Railway's terminus prior to the Monkwearmouth railway bridge opening in 1879. Monkwearmouth station was closed as a result of the Beeching Cuts in 1968.
