Early April and the start of Spring in Japan is heralded by the cherry blossom (Sakura). JNR Class C56 160 built by Kawasaki in 1939, is kept in operating condition by JR West at the Kyoto Railway Museum and here hauls a short demonstration train with cherry trees in full blossom.
