The GWR long-distance services to the West of England are generally formed from 2x5car or the newer 9-car IET units, but single 5-car sets are still to be seen on the recently upgraded local service between Paddington and Bedwyn. No. 800018 is in charge of one such 'down' working, while an unidentified DBC-red diesel with a Whatley Quarry to Theale stone train waits in the loop on Hungerford Common - to be overtaken by an 'up' express on 31st May 2019.
