Having crossed the six-arch viaduct at Pill, 'Colas' Class 66/8 No. 66850 'David Maidment OBE' approaches the disused platforms of Pill station atop the 19:55 Bristol Kingsland Road out and back RHTT working. Pill station which closed to passengers on 7th September 1964 is located along the single line between Ashton junction and Portbury dock. Bringing up the rear of the working is classmate Class 66/8 No. 66846 on a blustery 09th October 2019.
