Still in old Scotrail livery, Northern Class 156 Metro-Cammell 'Super Sprinter' No. 156447 departs its Platform 2 start point and passes under the 1870's Passenger Footbridge at Hexham Station, (which opened in 1835 and is one of the oldest railway stations in the world, built to link the lead mines of the North Pennines to the Tyne Docks at Blaydon) working the 13:56 service to Nunthorpe on 14th September 2019.
