Stabled for the weekend in a siding just outside Skipton station on 7th June 1986 Class 141 No. 141001, formed of DMS No. 55502 and DMSL No. 55522, is sandwiched between two modified BR 20 ton brake vans awaiting a tow to Hunslet-Barclay in Kilmarnock, Scotland, for refurbishment. The brake vans being required as the Class 141 as built had a unique coupling arrangement. By this time it was the only Class 141 to retain this short lived Blue and grey MetroTrain livery. Returned to service as Class 141 No. 141102 she was exported to Iran in 2001/2002.
