Sporting a white stripe, which was the trademark addition by Finsbury Park Depot at the time, Class 31 No. 31403 stands in one of the centre roads between platforms 2 and 3 at Leeds station on 20th November 1980 with a short engineers train. This scene has been swept away by redevelopment at the station. No. 31403 was withdrawn in January 1995 and scrapped in June 2003.
