Class 46 Peak No. 46026 The Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeaomanry heads along the sea wall at Dawlish on 11th August 1984 with the 08.55 Newquay - Manchester Holidaymaker service. Always a celebrity on account of it being the only named class 46, the original D163 was one of only five class 46s left in service at the time and would see just three months further service as it was withdrawn in November 1984 and scrapped in March 1985.
