The magnificent 'Avon Gorge' during autumn is photographed from the higher reaches of the 'Downs' as 'GWR' Class 166 No. 166205 is about to enter the western entrance of the 1,751 yard long Clifton Down tunnel while powering the 09:10 Avonmouth-Bristol Temple Mead service. In the far distance the 'Royal Portbury Dock' and coastal town of Portishead are seen on 14th October 2020.
