The sun has just set on 9th December 2020 as Class 43 power car No. 43055 powers Locomotive Services Ltd. 'Midland Pullman' HST set through platform 2 at Eastleigh watched by a group of enthusiasts on the adjacent platform, after departs from Eastleigh Works with the 15:53 ECS move to Crewe, Classmate No. 43046 is on the rear. The photographer is assisted in the fading light for exposure by the station lighting. The set had arrived at Eastleigh Works on 11th November 2020, to have a new Kitchen Car added, seen behind the leading power car, thus increasing the formation into a nine-coach configuration. On 12th December 2020, the Midland Pullman worked its inaugural rail tour from St Pancras through the Peak District to Crewe and returning to St Pancras.
