The sole surviving LSWR Adams Class T3 4-4-0 No. 563 has been captured by the photographer a few weeks after its arrival at the Swanage Railway following the National Railway Museumâ??s decision to give this National Collection Locomotive as a gift to the Purbeck Heritage Railway. Here, on 8th June 2017, it is seen stored in the goods siding at Corfe Castle. The loco is currently undergoing overhaul/restoration at The Flour Mill workshops in the Forest of Dean and to date despite the Covid pandemic this work is quietly progressing.
