Tour participants stretch their legs as GWR 'Castle' Class 4-6-0 No. 5054 'Earl of Ducie' takes water at Pontypool Road on 12th July 1964, while en-route to Cardiff with the Derbyshire Railway Society Rail Tour from Sheffield. Allocated to Worcester, No. 5054 had relieved LNER Class A1 No. 60114 at Worcester and returned from Cardiff to Worcester via Chepstow. Unfortunately the A1 was failed and a LMS Class 5MT was substituted for the return to Sheffield from Worcester.
