With 33207 “Jim Martin” doing most of the work, Standard Class 4MT no. 76079 crosses Pont Briwet with the 10.05 Machynlleth to Pothmadog “The Cambrian”. The 4MT had ingested a tender full of sea water at Pwllheli on Wednesday, which caused it to prime on its return that day. 33207 also became the first Class 33 to venture north of Barmouth.
