The Wrexham and Shropshire Railway Company are finally in possession of the first DVT in the company's own livery, after a protracted period of refurbishment. Testing of DVT 82301 commenced on September 22, working a circuitous route from Crewe-Crewe via Wrexham Shrewsbury and Stafford, a route designed to keep the DVT orientated in the same direction of travel at the end of the circuit as it began. On September 26, DVT 82301 pauses at a murky Wrexham General, with 3 Cargo-D Mk3s and 67015 at the rear. It is understood that the second DVT, 82302, will be on test during the week commencing September 28th, 2008. Note: This is unedited ie NO Cropping, levels adjustments or sharpening. A minor adjustment was to contrast before the RAW file was converted to a jpeg.
