The Railway Touring Company's "The Hadrian" charter arrives into York on 24 October 2009, hauled by LMS Royal Scot no. 46115 "Scots Guardsman", the steam loco having worked the train from Hellifield to Carlisle, returning via Hexham and the ECML. The train continued diesel hauled to Leicester.
