The extension of the Christmas Mail train programme into 2010 has seen many of the trains hauled by electric locomotives including Class 86/7 No. 86701 Orion which passed Euxton on January 8 hauling two Class 325 EMU trainsets on a Willesden PRMT - Shieldmuir service.
