On 20th March 2010 Pathfinder Tours operated 'The Western Rocks' railtour which took Class 52 'Western' No. D1015 'Western Champion' from Bristol Temple Meads to the spa town of Buxton. The train ran via Birmingham and Derby to Leeds before crossing the Pennines via the Standedge route and passing Stockport to reach Buxton via the long climb through Furness Vale and Chapel-en-le-Frith. The train is seen here rounding the curve through Combs as it heads towards Buxton.
