In the early evening light, ‘The Cathedrals Express’ heads past Wood Walton in Cambridgeshire, with the distinctive St Andrew’s Church in the background. Originally scheduled to be hauled by LNER A4 Class 4-6-2 No. 60019 ‘Bittern’, technical reasons saw the locomotive having to be replaced. Seen here powering towards Abbots Ripton on 15th July 2010, being hauled by a pair of West Coast Railways Class 47s, No. 47760 leading with No. 47245 bringing up the rear.
